Swimming in the tears of the poor

In 1776 a young Thomas Paine wrote "Perhaps the sentiments contained in the following pages, are not YET sufficiently fashionable to procure them general favor; a long habit of not thinking a thing WRONG, gives it a superficial appearance of being RIGHT, and raises at first a formidable outcry in defense of custom. But the tumult soon subsides. Time makes more converts than reason". The pamphlet was " common sense" and helped spark the American revolution. How "the people" repaid this man especially at the end of his life is another story. I seem to catch on much quicker than others so forgive me if you do not yet agree with the following:

This country is broken and moving toward fascism. We don't need a change in government we need a change of government. When dissent is stifled, arbitrary laws are enacted, and the criminal justice system has become a profit making beast that employs lowly taught obedient savages called police who haven't the brains to think a thing wrong, something has to be done. The wealthy corporate fascist who run this country use politics and wedge issues to turn the people against each other while they rape and pillage the country and exploit the world.
H. L. Mencken said "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public" they haven't, in fact they became filthy rich. The people will get the government they deserve and I don't think George Orwell was far off when he said "If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever". I'm only one man, so while all of you are attending the modern bread and circuses called "news" and "elections" I'll do the only thing one can living in an age of still primitive people, refuse to participate. If you truly want to know who is to blame, look in the mirror.
